Hi Sushi Izakaya has become the capital's most stylish Japanese eatery – located in the heart of Covent Garden's Opera Quarter, Hi Sushi Izakaya is the official sushi supplier of Vauxhall Fashion Scout 2011. As this show marks the 10th season of the successful Vauxhall Fashion Scout, Hi Sushi Izakaya will set up a sushi bar serving the uber-glamorous crowd at the 10th-Season Celebration Party in the grandeur of Freemasons' Hall on the night of 18th February as well as during the one-week period of Vauxhall Fashion Scout. Such fabulous partnership of high fashion and Hi Sushi is sure to satisfy all you fashionistas' appetites!
From traditional Japanese food with modern twists to classic cocktails in a serene, stylish interior, Hi Sushi Izakaya is a refreshing mixture of culinary aspiration and affordability. Diners can expect authentic arrays of seasonally-adapted yaki grills, unusual sushi and sashimi, and many other innovative dishes created by 15 years of Japanese culinary expertise of head chef Eric Fu, previously of Roka (on Charlotte Street).
During the Vauxhall Fashion Scout week (from 18th to 23rd February), we will find Eric Fu busy behind the sushi bar hand-crafting beautiful and delicious nigiri in the Freemansons' Hall (where the fashion shows take place)! 01/02/2010 Grand Opening of Empress of Sichuan.
The new arrival provides the capital with a high-end venue, that specialises in the specific cuisine of the Sichuan province, which is currently hugely underrepresented. Although there is a current vogue for regional Chinese cooking and customers are keen to sample a real taste of the diverse country, opportunities to do so have previously been few and far between for the adventurous diner.

Saturday 21st August MELODALA will launch at the Tate Britain Making it the Gallery's first iPad art installation. This Event will run in association with the HI SUSHI Group who will host the after-party at their Hi Sushi Camden Restaurant. Hi Sushi will be supporting MOLODALA further with a series of events held at HI SUSHI Camden on the last Saturday of the month.
Moladala is based on the ancient Mandala, a concentric diagram used by Tibetan Buddhist Monks as a creative aid to meditation, healing and trance induction. Developed by Multimedia entrepreneurs Mark McEvoy, Gil Cang and Chris Walters, it features 35 colours, 12 brushes, 3,4,6 & 8 way symmetry and 10 musical tracks which combine to enable the creation of unique cosmic doodles (Dalas). Use the images as a screensaver, email, print or set them adrift on memory bliss and start anew. The possibilities are infinite...

Geoffrey Leong of the Hi Sushi Japanese restaurant group is proud to announce sponsorship of the fashion show with Freya Olson promoting the new designer collection from Doii Paris. Doii is taking part in the largest independent designer event during London Fashion Week February 2010.
Freya Olsen promoting Doii will be using this show to launch Doii Paris into the European market.
