About the head Chef at Goldfish City

Mr Kevin Chow, Chinese Head Chef, was born in Johor, Malaysia. In the Nineties, he was appointed Chinese Chef in the Four Seasons and Grand Hyatt Hotels in Singapore.

After being recruited by Cocoon Restaurant in London as the chef overseeing its Chinese Food division, he joined RMUK Ltd and has implemented unrivalled cooking skills at Goldfish since 2007. He recently spent a year at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore where he learnt innovative trends emerging in Asia.

Kevin specialises in highly unique, yet traditional cuisine combining the most popular dishes in Shanghai, Hong Kong & Singapore. Each dish has been carefully prepared incorporating the finest ingredients without any inclusion of MSG. Each special dish is the consequence of culinary creativity and a desire for Goldfish to strive for excellence as much as a completely original gastronomic offering to Londoners.

Goldfish City is without doubt a celebration of innovative modern Chinese cooking. Whilst Thai, Szechuan, Mongolese and Japanese influences pepper the distinguished menu, Goldfish City is without doubt a celebratory homage to fine Chinese cooking. Featuring sea bass fillet and a fine balance of spices, it’s a must for a meal to remember. Ginger Scallops (£13) are a succulent and health-conscious choice; perfectly seared scallops served with ginger and tobiko and presented on a linear platter in the lightest soy sauce. Catering to those on the run, carefully coordinated set lunch or dinner menus, priced from £15.50 to £30 for fast, first class eating experiences that are filled with flavour and free of anything energy-zapping. Speedy bento boxes will also be available for just £7 – with a choice of succulent roast duck, chicken or char siu roast pork with seasonal vegetables, rice and soup. For those looking to have an elaborate “Goldfish” dining experience with time to spare, there is the extravagant six course tasting menu priced at just £49.
